Taskyy Network
The Taskyy Network plugin lets you manage subcontractors, crews, and referral relationships—all inside your Taskyy workspace.
What This Feature Does
- Maintain a directory of subcontractors and crew contacts.
- Send and receive job referrals with other Taskyy contractors.
- Control visibility: decide what downstream contractors can see.
- Track referral status and commissions.
When To Use It
- You regularly hire subcontractors for specialty trades.
- You want a trusted network for overflow work or referrals.
- You collaborate with other contractors on shared projects.
Core Concepts
Subcontractors
Individual tradespeople or companies you hire. Store their trade, license, insurance, contact info, and default rates.
Crews
Groups of workers you assign to jobs. A crew can have a lead, members, and shared calendar access.
Referrals
Outbound: send a lead or job to another contractor.
Inbound: receive a referral from a partner.
Both sides track status (sent, accepted, in progress, completed, paid).
Visibility Rules
When you refer a job, you choose what the downstream contractor sees:
- Full: client details, address, notes, attachments.
- Limited: scope summary and location only.
- Minimal: job type and timeline only.
Setup Checklist
- Open Taskyy Network plugin.
- Add subcontractors: name, trade, phone, email, license, insurance expiry.
- Create crews: assign members, set crew lead.
- Configure referral settings: default commission %, visibility default.
- Invite partners: they’ll get an email to join Taskyy Network.

Common Issues And Fixes
Subcontractor Not Getting Notifications
- Verify their email/phone in directory.
- Check their notification preferences in their Taskyy account.
- Resend invite if they haven’t joined Taskyy yet.
Referral Stuck In "Sent"
- Partner may not have accepted yet.
- Send a reminder from the referral detail view.
- If partner isn’t on Taskyy, they’ll need to sign up first.
Visibility Too Restrictive
- Edit the referral and increase visibility level.
- Note: you can only increase, not decrease, after sending.
